ABOUT US
It never ends
Passion never die. It grows
Stay Hungry and Strong
The Ubik Kaotik Orkestra was born from our love for cinema, art and imaginative literature in general, with a particular intention towards Philip K. Dick, an author whom we greatly admire.
OUR LATEST TRACKS
- Crash : this is a direct reference to the writer James G. Ballard, whom we also like. His novel had a great impact on us. It is the irruption of the unexpected, of the accident, in the quiet continuity of life. Breaking...

- Newspeak : this piece is a direct allusion to George Orwell's "1984", and we have long since entered this era of the systematic manipulation of language and meaning by politicians, characters who inspire us with deep disgust.
- Sabbath : it's a baroque, nocturnal party in the forest. This piece inspired us to have this vision, of witches dancing around the fire.
- Virtual friends evokes the idea that the world is becoming artificial, and that new relationships are being created, between individuals via cyber space, but also, soon, with abstract entities, artificial intelligences, while more than ever, human contacts are fragile and superficial.
- Crash Phase II is a deeper exploration of the musical possibilities revealed by Crash, and it is, here again, a matter of seeking tension and energy.
- Shark smiles speaks directly to people in charge of communications, lobby lawyers, politicians, manipulators, all these people who are so presentable, with such a convincing smile, but who, in reality, only seek to bite you, strip you, take away your rights.
